Located 1 mile from Maentwrog, this fabulous ancient oakwood was once part of an historic estate. It features a network of trails together with three pretty lakes that are wonderful swimming pools for dogs to enjoy. The Ffestiniog railway snakes through the landscape here and there are stunning views across Snowdonia. It is also possible to revel in the spectacular view of the coast. Abundant with rare wildlife and amazing flora, Coed Hafod y Llyn is simply fabulous!

This ancient woodland is ideal for adventurous dogs and canine swimmers. It’s beautiful throughout the year and is a little off the beaten track which ensures that the area is relatively quiet every day. The various trails enable me to create a walk of any duration from 30 minutes to two hours.
